Description of the tour:

A wonderful opportunity to get away from the city and enjoy a day in nature, off the beaten track. The mystic Ķemeri bog trail is equally beautiful all year round, and sunsets here are truly spectacular.  

This tour is suitable for basically any age and level of fitness. Ķemeri National Park is ca. 45 km from Old Riga, i.e., less than an hour’s drive. After a short walk through the forest, one gets to a wooden trail over the 8000-year-old bog, approximately 4 km long. There is an opportunity to sit down and relax on the way, as well as a bird-watching tower. This park is home to dozens of species of birds, as well as the only carnivorous plant in Latvia.

No special dress code or gear required – comfortable shoes and clothing. Not suitable for wheelchairs.
